in ICT4D Literature is as below:
Development
in ICT4D can be categorized into three Scopes and they are as below:
1.
Development
Scope 1: Geographic- and agenda-specific
development – particular progressive changes in a developing country. We
can divide society into its four components: Government, Civil Society
(including NGOs), Citizens, and the Private Sector. In development scope 1,
ICT4D has helped Governments all around the World to improve and combat
corruptions through the effective use of ICT4D in areas such as: Taxes
collection, Health delivery systems, platform that presents transparency
between Government, Civil Society, Citizens and the Private Sector, etc.

Development
Scope 2: geographically specific development – any progressive changes in a
developing country through the use of ICT4D are attributed to development scope
2. For example, in Africa the use of mobile phone by farmers to check their
crops and also engage into commercial activities with customers are seen as a
milestone in the ICT4D arena.

Development
Scope 3: generic development – any progressive change in a society (for the moment, for example, from analog to
digital technology, etc. can be seen as an improvement or development through
ICT4D.
